The Day's Events

  • Nearly 100 Juried Fine Artists & Crafters displayed their work right on W. Broad Street, between Front and Fourth Streets, and at the Quakertown Train Station
  • Food, fun, and community group booths were interspersed among the artists throughout the downtown, along W. Broad Street from Fourth Street to the train station
  • Local retail stores and restaurants were bustling with foot traffic
  • The Childrens Courtyard: 224 W. Broad Street, Sponsored by QNB Community Bank and Univest, featured arts & crafts for children age 12 and under, plus the magic of Jonathan Swift, the puppeteering of Wagstaff & Co., Irish dancing from the O'Grady-Quinlan Academy, and Q-Bot character from QNB
  • The annual Bill Baker Memorial Senior Art Show, Sponsored by LifeQuest, was at the new location for the Katie Stauffer Memorial Art Center, 223 W. Broad Street

  • $2 Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides, sponsored by QNB Community Bank, boarded at Third and W. Broad Sts.
  • Strolling Performers: Giggle Mill Improv Troupe, Tootsie the Clown & friends and Juggler Extraordinare Dick Grainer delighted young and old
  • Lion Around Books hosted multiple Book Signings from local Children's Book Authors at 302 W. Broad St.
  • Bucks County Community College brought its Art Mobile Exhibit on the history of thread in our cultures
  • The high school had its final day of the Student Art Exhibit on Park Ave.
  • A Free Afternoon Oil Painting Workshop was run by New England artist Michele Randell for students age 11-15 at Studio 116, 116 E. Broad Street
  • New Automobiles from the Faulkner-Ciocca Dealerships were at the Train Station, at Front and W. Broad Streets
  • Radio Station B101 provided BuzzBee and the Bee Crew at 211 W. Broad St. from 2-4 PM
  • An In-Door Flea Market was  hosted by the Quakertown Fire Company #1, W. Broad St. near Fifth, 9 AM-4 PM
  • Miss Cindy's School of Dance performed jazz numbers on the stage and later in the street at the Broadway Cafe, 241 W. Broad Street
